
OUR STORY AND MISSION
Where we've come from
Aspiring Materials began through a chance night out between two new dads who just needed a good night's sleep. The only place they felt they could get that? Mars, of course.
A collaborative brainstorm followed, evolving into a decade of research and development to create Martian materials for liveable, resilient structures on a planet far, far from here.
But these creators of the Martian materials Marscrete - our original founders - soon realised that pursuing the improbable was not about a desire to make Mars habitable, but a necessity to keep Earth in balance for humanity’s survival. Their unexpected encounter and unwillingness to let known limitations get in the way of potential possibilities is what ​Aspiring Materials is founded upon.

Where we're headed
Today, our mission at Aspiring Materials is to transform the impact of heavy industry on the environment while ensuring it remains a positive and sustainable contributor to society.
To do this, we are focused on strengthening the resilience of essential industries by providing onshore supply of critical minerals and essential materials that are free of carbon dioxide and other environmentally harmful contaminants. With our 'local-to-you' production model, essential industrial sectors can bolster strategic sustainability, by reducing their dependencies on global markets and reducing their overall carbon dioxide emissions.

A short local source of mineral and material inputs immediately removes risks associated with complex long supply chains and at the same time reduces emissions incurred from transportation and harmful production processes.

Our drop-in carbon-free mineral and materials are designed to immediately reduce emissions, supporting industries to achieve their environmental goals with minimal disruption.

But we're not stopping there. Our team of bold thinkers is redefining sustainable development.
We're working towards the prevention of all on-site operational emissions, by providing a source of clean fuel and a simple solution to capture and mineralisation carbon dioxide emissions. That future is not far away.
