I make the connections between geology and chemical processes from start to finish or, in our case, from rock to rock.

I lead the development of the front-end process, driving innovation and continuous improvement efforts.  

I provide chemical and process engineering advice to the team on topics ranging from safety, design, scale-up, and techno-economics.

I provide technical engineering assistance to the Aspiring Materials team and participate in the ongoing optimisation of our process through research & development.

I assist in the testing of new equipment and material; using chemistry to explore and optimise the mineral digestion process.

I chart our strategic course, steward our financial vitality and shape the high-performance team needed to drive transformation and decarbonization of modern industrial practices.

I look after the relationships we hold with our business partners and suppliers as well as making sure the Aspiring Materials team has everything they need to keep doing what they do.

I manage left-over materials, using electrolysis to regenerate acids & bases to ensure a closed-loop, zero-waste process.

I focus on the practical side of bringing ideas to fruition: designing, sourcing, vetting, and procuring all the bits and pieces for any bespoke equipment or engineering setup we need.

I share the work our team does through words and pictures, to raise awareness and understanding about what we do and how that helps industries achieve low carbon operations.
